The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a committee led by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, is making moves to cut government waste. Aides for DOGE have been interviewing staffers from over a dozen federal agencies, including the Treasury Department and the IRS. DOGE has also been actively hiring, with a staff of approximately 50 people currently working from SpaceX's offices in Washington, D.C., and plans to double that number by President-elect Trump's inauguration.
