Being the size that I am online, it can be difficult to find guests. There are two reasons for this. First is that I'm genuinely bad at social media, so my lack of growth is just my own fault. That makes visibility to other creators, especially large creators, much more difficult. Getting Darth Crypto last week was a huge get, and he is an incredibly nice guy, was a great guest and I learned a lot from having him on.
The second reason is that I don't really know where to look to find new people to have on. I have reached out to twice as many people as I've actually had on, but I end up finding people who are so big, I get lost in the noise because they're guaranteed at such a large size to get thousands of notifications a day and they can't keep up.
I would be happy to have pretty much all of the guests I've had on before again (and I have a repeat guest later this month), but that's not great for creating a show that's going to be entertaining for an audience all the time.
There are a couple of you who have reached out with suggestions for guests, and I have definitely taken those into consideration and I will be reaching out/following up soon. It can be tough to try and find people because I don't have a ton of time to watch and research new people. It's a quandary that I'm musing through, and I will definitely keep working to resolve the problem, because the problem comes down to my own weaknesses, and resolution will make me a better creator.
I'm always open to suggestions though, so if there's someone you want me to talk to and you know how to get in touch with them, let me know and send me the details and I'll see what I can do.
